Convention Doll

The convention doll is a special commemorative doll that holds a place of distinction in any collection. Each time an attendee looks at her convention doll, she recalls the wonderful experience had at that particular convention.

This year the convention doll was not only one doll but TWO! This convention marks the first ever convention doll gift set featuring Gary and Dawn.

Gary wears a plaid button down shirt with a brown leather vest and khaki Bermuda-length shorts. He blocks the sun with a straw hat banded with fabric that matches his vest. Tucked into the band is a series of croc teeth from his many adventures! On his feet are green sneakers to protect him while walking around the swamps. To cool off, he is carrying a bucket filled with Pepsi and ice cubes. Dawn wears a matching plaid sleeveless blouse tied casually at the waist. She wears khaki capri-length pants and red kid leather skimmers on her feet. To keep her hair out of her eyes, she wears a matching kerchief fastened under her chin. To further protect her eyes from the Florida sun, she wears red tinted sunglasses. No outfit is complete without jewelry, so Dawn finishes her outfit with a red bead necklace. She carries the fishing pole for their day out in the swamps, depicted in the background. No day out in the Everglades is complete without seeing an alligator so imagine their surprise when Dawn and Gary see the friendly one right in front of them!
