Goodie Bags

At the very first Dawn convention, everyone who attended happened to bring some "goodies" for the other attendees. This was the beginning of the more official goodie bags for future conventions. This convention will continue the tradition and each attendee will receive a goodie bag. Since all attendees receive a goodie bag, it is hoped that every attendee will contribute. For those not able to attend, this is one way to be a part of the convention. Contributions from non-attendees are always welcome and greatly appreciated.

Goodies should be doll-related items. Past goodie bags have included doll outfits, shoes, purses, hats, scarves, calendars, buttons, pins, photo albums, doll jewelry, miniatures, scene setters, props, magnets, doll pets, and a variety of other items. You may create or purchase the items. You may wish to join forces with fellow artisans and collectors for a group project. Use your creativity!

Our young collectors (children attendees) will receive their own version of the goodie bag so please consider contributing a few extras for them as well.

Sending Donations

The goodie bag coordinator is Peggy Coleman. She can be reached via email at pecbonita@comcast.net.

Please send your donations to Peggy at the address below. We will be making 36 goodie bags so please send 36 identical items so we have one for each bag. If contributing for the young collectors' bags, please send 3 identical items marked "Young Collectors".  The items for the young collectors should be age appropriate.

Please arrange for your contributions to arrive by September 18, 2010. It is suggested that you use a mail service with a tracking number to keep tabs on your donation. Every effort will be made to email you when your items arrive so please clearly label your items with your name and contact information. In order to receive credit as a donor, your items must be properly labeled.
